FIS is an intimate festival in its essence, that programs all types of artistic expression with a strong connection to the performing arts. FIS takes place annually, in November, in the city of Póvoa de Varzim, in the north of Portugal.
Do you have a solo and want to participate in FIS?
We are always looking for new solo projects where the performing arts are a strong vehicle for creation. FIS opens the doors, in all its editions, to projects from the most varied artistic fields, which may include: circus, dance, music, theatre, performance, stand-up, installation, exhibition, among others.
If you have a project with these characteristics and would like to participate in the festival, send us an e-mail with all the information about your project, preferably including a dossier, photographs and an integral video.

How to get to the festival
By car
Via A28 towards Viana do Castelo and exit at Póvoa de Varzim.
There are also several bus services that stop at the bus station in Póvoa de Varzim.
By subway
Line B (Red) to “Póvoa de Varzim” station. Both normal and express services stop at this station. There is also a direct connection to the train station "Campanhã". For more information on Metro do Porto service, such as timetables and frequencies, please consult: metrodoporto.pt

● To collect discounted tickets or invitations, it is mandatory to present an identification document.
● Os bilhetes reservados devem ser levantados até 72 horas antes do início do evento.
● It is not allowed to enter the rooms after the beginning of the show, unless otherwise indicated by the room attendants. In case of delay and impossibility of entry, the ticket price will not be refunded.

● The schedule may change for unforeseen reasons.
● If the event date is changed, the ticket purchased will be valid for the final date.
