Cine-Teatro Garrett, Sala Principal (Main Room)
Cinemateca had a starting point: interviews with directors of which I highlight Fritz Lang, John Cassavetes, Federico Fellini, Ingmar Bergman and Aki Kaurismäki.
By invoking cinema as work material, I set out to create a piece that could be defined as cinematographic. By using these speeches/interviews, I intended to create on stage a body that associates itself to the word and the sound, creating a symbolic and referential universe to cinema.
Cinemateca is placed between interviewee and interviewer, between director and spectator, proposing to create a fiction made possible by dance.
