International Solo Festival

Si pudiera hablar de esto no haría esto

Cine-Teatro Garrett, Sala Principal (Main Room)

Synopsis

I do not propose any question, discourse or reflection about it. I do not know what plot would be most favorable to this work or basically what it is about. That inability to describe it drives me and motivates me. I just want to activate my body, the time and space around me, share feelings, start a path through my experiences and my needs of expression where the action, commitment and responsibility will be essential to carry out this work.

Biography

Janet Novás (O Porriño, 1982). Galician dancer and creator. Lives in Madrid since 2001. In 2008 she began to create and develop her own projects. Her work is built from observation, experience and dialogue with her body as the main tool, betting on her own language, shaping the emotional content and aesthetic simplicity that characterize her projects. Her creations have been presented in prestigious national and international festivals such as Rencontres Chorégraphiques, Festival de Marseille, Festival Nouvelles-Pole Sud, Cement Festival, FIDCU (Montevideo), MOV_S, TNT Dansa, Festival de Otoño a Primavera, Escenas do Cambio, Festival Bad, among others.
