Master in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Faculdade de Farmácia da Universidade do Porto (FFUP) and community pharmacist from 2016 to 2021.
A gymnast for twenty years and an Acrobatic Gymnastics competition athlete for ten, she started in the circus at age 15 as a self-taught contortionist. Years later she returned, more deeply, to the exploration of this area. She found in the disciplines of handstands, acrobatics and aerials the freedom and extension of the training acquired previously.
She worked with Corda Bamba, Erva Daninha, Marionetas da Feira, Nuvem Voadora and LaFontana – Formas Animadas. She is the co-creator and performer of the company Coração nas Mãos and of the shows “Corpo-Todo” and “Chá das cinco – peça para quatro amigas mais uma que nunca mais chega.” She presented her work at several national festivals such as Catavento, Trengo, Bolina, Vaudeville Rendez-Vous, LEME and Festival dos Canais.
She was also a trainer of Acrobatic Gymnastics at the Ginásio Clube Vilacondense (GCV) and teacher at Instituto Nacional das Artes do Circo (INAC). She is the organizer of Cabarets de Circo do Porto.
Her curiosity and spirit of adventure took her to Toulouse, where she completed the «Formalisation de Projet Artistique/Cirque», at ESAC – TO/LIDO-PRO, Le Lido. This experience allowed her to receive training from famous French circus names such as Christian Coumin, Pascal Angelier, Nicanor de Elia, Florent Bergal, Albin Warette, Aurélie Vincq, among others. To the master’s “Performing Public Space” at Fontys – School of Fine and Performing Arts in Tilburg, Holland, to the “CRECE” project by the Spanish school Carampa directed by Jorge Albuerne and to the “Certificat en dramaturgie circassine'' from the Center National des Arts du Cirque (CNAC).
