Biography

Adrián Vega is a choreographer who graduated from the Institut del Teatre, a guest teacher at the Professional Dance Conservatory of Barcelona and considers himself a post-hip-hop artist. His choreographic interest lies in the hybridization and speculation of movement languages. In this space, he feels comfortable generating patterns of improvisation and instant composition, which he has gathered from breakdance, contemporary dance, and flamenco. His work focuses on the relationship with the ground, body inversion, visual effects' beauty, and sound exploration.
