Synopsis

In this workshop, Wes will guide you through his unique ball juggling techniques. Teaching you new juggling repertoire while explaining the underlying concepts behind the tricks and how to expand those ideas into other aspects of your own juggling. See how to develop new tricks, expand on traditional manipulation techniques, and transform simple ideas into juggling with surprising functions and unconventional shapes. The workshop is a playful and uplifting environment designed to experiment together and find new joyful ways of tangling gravity, time, and objects.

 

Hours: from 10h00 to 13h00
Target audience: professionals and people with experience*
Maximum number of participants: 15
Registration: €40 (with ticket for a show of your choice included)

 

*Participants must be able to juggle 5 balls and comfortably perform 3-ball patterns such as 531, 423, and 441.


Biography

Wes Peden has performed around the world from Olympic stadiums in Tokyo to Broadway theatres in NYC and Glacier Museums in Iceland. His energetic, playful and complex style has won awards from the International Juggling Association and Cirque de Demain. Wes uses the skills he has honed from the age of 5 to twist gravity into the most beautiful knots physics will allow.
