Synopsis

Like Santa Claus, Cultural Marcelism is an idea with practical results. Santa Claus doesn't exist, but gifts appear. Cultural Marcelism does not exist, but its effects are visible. Within the scope of FIS, Professor Doctor Alexandre Sá comes to Pátio Café to present, through a short lecture, his theory on Cultural Marcelism and its cultural implications in the country Portugal.


Biography

Alexandre Sá was born in 1984 and is an auctor – like this, no mistakes. He has worked with the most varied entities and artists in the areas of physical theater, comedy, writing, oral narration and improvisation. And that is how he has governed himself. From 2010 to 2015 he had continuous training and practice in clowning, mask and improvisation at Clown Laboratori Porto. He is a regular presence in director Rúben Marques' film projects, through the production company WOW Filmes. From 2015 to 2019, together with Isabel Costa, he developed the “artistic whim” Ando a Estudar Para Ser Poeta. He is a founding member of the theatrical improvisation collective Ervilha no Topo do Bolo.
