Solo Performing Arts

UR●DIR

Cine-Teatro Garrett, Sala Principal (Main Room)

Synopsis

UR●DIR proposes a reflection on the relationship between time and space, action and inertia, singular and plural, presenting a structured body that breaks down, as it reflects the most varied cells inherent to the place of waiting: from existentialism to romanticism, from naturalism to post-dramatic.

Biography

UR●DIR is the first show of the structure Gravity Forms, financed by Programa Criatório - PLÁKA (CMP), Fundação GDA and Câmara Municipal de Lisboa, which debuted at Teatro Helena Sá e Costa, in Porto and Escola de Mulheres, in Lisbon. Gravity Forms is a non-profit cultural association created in 2022, under the artistic direction of Maria Olas, Jordann dos Santos and Vitor Alves da Silva, whose main artistic premise is to think about the place of contemporary human beings, regardless of classes, genders or identities, through the displacement of identification itself, crossing the Visual, Plastic and Performing Arts. This structure also aims to encourage meetings between creators from Porto and Lisbon.
