Homo jonglisticus.
How many generations would we have to go back to find our non-human or non-primate ancestors? Which of these ancestors invented the opposable thumb for their hands and feet?
And, above all, which of them gave up the one on their feet? As a juggler, I think that was a terrible idea. Today, it is urgent to find a better solution for adaptation.
I therefore decide, starting today, to change the way I perceive my environment and thus soon become the first representative of a new lineage of mammals... of juggling mammals...
I hear laughter... but this approach could set a precedent and be potentially reusable to develop a method of adaptability to new environments... to new conditions...
I have big plans for humanity, and at uMWelt, I share them without compensation... for now...
The Endogène company, founded in 2012 by visual artist Céline Couronne and juggler Morgan Cosquer, develops contemporary creations at the intersection of juggling, visual arts, light, and sound. After installations, performances, and a short film, the company continues its reflection on the human relationship with living things with “uMWelt.” In recent years, it has also been involved in outreach and mediation for professional and school audiences.
